These guidelines apply to all business owners, service providers, sellers, and organizations who list or promote their services on Emmoceb.

1. Provide Accurate & Complete Business Information

To maintain trust in the platform, all listings must include truthful and complete information, such as:

  • Business name
  • Service category
  • Contact details
  • Address / service area
  • Pricing (if relevant)
  • Working hours
  • Business photos

Misleading or false information is strictly prohibited.

2. High-Quality Images & Media

Images must be:

  • Clear, original, and relevant
  • Free from watermarks of other brands or websites
  • Non-blurry, non-distorted, and non-copyrighted

We prohibit:

  • Stock photos without license
  • Misleading or fake images (example: showing pets not part of your service/business)

3. Authenticity & Transparency

Business owners must:

  • Provide honest service descriptions
  • Be transparent about policies, pricing, and availability
  • Avoid overpromising results or making false claims

Trust is a core part of Emmoceb — authenticity is essential.

4. Maintain Professional Communication

When interacting with customers through Emmoceb:

  • Be polite, respectful, and professional
  • Avoid abusive or offensive language
  • Respond promptly to leads and messages
  • Resolve disputes calmly and responsibly

5. Comply With All Laws & Regulations

Businesses must comply with:

  • Indian business laws
  • GST and tax regulations (if applicable)
  • Legal requirements for selling or adopting pets
  • Animal welfare and breeding regulations
  • Local municipal rules

Illegal businesses, unethical practices, or banned pet sales are not permitted.

6. Only Ethical & Responsible Pet Practices Allowed

Emmoceb strictly prohibits:

  • Puppy mills and unethical breeding
  • Illegal wildlife trading
  • Selling banned or endangered breeds
  • Animal cruelty, abuse, or unsafe conditions

Your business must follow ethical and humane treatment of all animals.

7. Keep Listings Updated

To provide a reliable user experience:

  • Update your listing when details change
  • Refresh pricing, timing, or contact info
  • Add new photos, offers, or services
  • Remove services you no longer offer

Inactive or outdated listings may be removed.

8. Review & Ratings Guidelines

Reviews are important for customer trust.

Business owners:

  • Can reply to customer reviews
  • Cannot post fake reviews about themselves
  • Cannot force or manipulate customers to give a review
  • Cannot pay for positive reviews

Any violation will result in account restrictions or listing removal.

9. No Spam or Irrelevant Content

Your listing must focus only on your pet-related services or products.
You may not:

  • Post unrelated promotional content
  • Send spam messages to users
  • Upload irrelevant external links

Spam listings will be removed immediately.

10. Use Emmoceb’s Advertising Features Properly

If you purchase promoted listings or ads:

  • Follow ad design rules
  • Avoid misleading content
  • Ensure ads point to your own business only
  • Follow the advertising terms of service

Misuse may result in removal of ads or account suspension.

11. Payment & Billing Guidelines

For paid plans and promotions:

  • Ensure you understand pricing before purchase
  • Keep payment details accurate
  • Follow renewal and cancellation rules
  • Refunds are provided only under specific conditions (see Refund Policy)

12. Safety & Customer Care Standards

Maintain high service standards:

  • Ensure pets are handled safely
  • Maintain hygiene at your facility
  • Keep vaccination and medical records (if offering boarding, grooming, etc.)
  • Provide clear instructions for services

Businesses failing to follow safety standards may be removed.

13. Multiple Listings Policy

You may create:

  • One listing per location
  • One listing per business category (if applicable)

Avoid duplicate or spammy listings.

14. Violations & Consequences

If a business violates Emmoceb’s rules, we may take actions such as:

  • Warning notice
  • Edits or removal of content
  • Suspension of listing
  • Permanent ban
  • Reporting illegal activities to authorities
